Welcome to MyWirelessReview

We're here to help!
Since the Wireless RERC began gathering experiences from people with disabilities in 2001, we’ve heard just how complicated and confusing choosing a wireless product can be. There are so many variables to consider and compare - features and functions, service plans, prices, accessories, and the "hot" new product on the market. Choosing one to fit your specific needs can be overwhelming – MyWirelessReview can help.

The ideal product fits your abilities and any limitations you might have, instead of forcing you to adapt to the product. Trying a product for a few minutes in the store is not the same as using it every day.

By creating forums for customers of all ages and abilities to share their experiences using wireless products, MyWirelessReview lets you discover what it is like to use one in real-life. We encourage you to join the discussion and share your own experiences so that others can learn from them. At MyWirelessReview, the user is the expert!

The Forums
There are eight forums covering the different features of wireless products, allowing you to discover which devices people use, how they use them, and what they like or dislike about them. We’ve based our forums on the features most commonly mentioned in more than 1200 responses to our Survey of User Needs. By focusing on features, we’ve designed the forums to help you decide what you would like to have in a new device and to help you learn how to more effectively use the one you have.

In the forums, you’ll notice that we’ve included some posts from “experts.” These are comments from individuals with disabilities who worked with the Wireless RERC to evaluate the features of their devices using a structured format. You may want to agree or disagree with these comments or add some of your own. You can read more about our user-testing here.

Throughout these forums, you’ll find links to resources that we, our testers, or other forum visitors have found. Feel free to visit these, share your comments about them, or add new ones.

Finally, we welcome your feedback on MyWirelessReview! We appreciate your comments on how MyWirelessReview has helped you navigate the wireless world and suggestions on how we can continue to make the site even better.
