Consumer Advisor is a userid for posting the comments of members of the Consumer Advisory Network (CAN)of the Wireless Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (Wireless RERC). CAN is a group of over 700 individuals, most of whom have disabilities and consequently have unique accessibility requirements when using wireless devices. The mission of the Wireless RERC is to promote universal design in future wireless technologies. Most manufacturers and providers of wireless products and services know that customer feedback is critical to improving usefulness and usability. We aim to drive that process for disabled persons.
