Wireless bills and customer satisfaction
Telephony Online has published a commentary/analysis about the increasing complexity - and cost - of wireless bills. It noted that some customers of the first iPhone were shocked at the extra charges for data transfer and overwhelmed by the multi-page bills that sometimes reached into the 100s of pages. High usage fees and complex bills similarly have affected users traveling abroad who are often surprised by the cost of overseas roaming charges, data transfer rates and connection fees, according to the article.
The article goes on to talk about ways to mitigate customer shock and disappointment, like perhaps sending them a text message every time their charges reach certain thresholds.
