Cellphone plans comparison chart

Gizmodo just published a comparison chart of features and prices for cell phone service that could help consumers choose the right service and get the best deal.

The chart was developed by BillShrink.com, which has an online tool that allows visitors to view other options for a given price or service feature. Simply type in some basic information on their current use and service features.

I just tried it and found it to be useful for itemizing costs and estimating total cost over 2 years. It produced 81 results and a so-called "shrink score" that indicates how much savings could be achieved for each result.

This is yet another tool in the toolbox for people looking to find a good deal on the right service. One limiting aspect of this tool, however, is that it does not seem to include any of the pre-paid vendors, only the major 4 carriers (T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon).
