Great for connecting with younger generation

Posted by Vicki at February 24. 2008
After trying instant messaging for a week on a mobile phone, a user-tester found he prefered it to text messaging because he could reach his daughter (and others) both when she was at her computer and on her mobile phone. He found it a great way to stay connected. On the other hand, an instant message conversation tended to be longer and after a while it was tiring to use the multi-tapping (having to click through 3 letters on one key). What are the different ways you use wireless devices to stay in-touch with your friends and family? Do you have any secrets for making sure your hands don't get tired from typing on it?
