Survey: Text messaging most important additional mobile service

Posted by jim at July 03. 2008

Among the 1400 people with disabilities who have responded to the Wireless RERC's Survey of User Needs, 43% list text messaging among the 5 most important wireless features. Apparently, they're not alone...

Recent findings of a survey by Amplitude Research reveal that almost 3/4 of new cell phone customers consider text messaging the most important additional feature, followed by camera, internet, and email functions. Other functions are gaining popularity, too.

How often do you use text messaging? What about camera, internet, and email functions?
