Similar features work in different ways

Posted by Vicki at February 24. 2008
A user-tester remarked how he liked using voice dialing. However, after using the speakerphone, he found it difficult to use because he wanted to stand away from the phone to give it “commands.” Have you found yourself in similar situations where because of how one feature works you assume another will work in a similar way, only to find that it does not? If so, do you have any tricks for remembering how things work on your wireless device?

Hi everyone,

I like this post on "hints & tricks" for things I do on the cellphone.

Here's one that I do.  By hitting the green "Send" key it opens a list of recently dialed numbers.  Then I can scroll down to the one I want, highlight it, then hit "Send" again to dial the number.  This beats having to manually type in each telephone number every time I want to dial a number.

Anyone have any other tricks of the trade they'd like to share?
