Samsung Instinct to feature tactile feedback technology

Samsung's new Instinct smartphone, available for purchase on June 20 will feature so-called "haptic" technology which provides tactile feedback when selecting items on the device's touch-screen. Given the rapid development of this technology, it's likely that Apple's new iPhone to be announced on June 9 will also feature some form of tactile feedback. This is all good news for users with vision or hand function limitations. Still, it remains to be demonstrated if haptic technology can match the usability of a well designed physical number pad or key pad.
