"Technability" article in Momentum Magazine

Logo for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Contains large MS letters in orange, with a black swoosh across the middle. The words National Multiple Sclerosis Society appear at bottom.

The cover story in the summer 2008 issue of Momentum, the magazine of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, is on "Technability", or "technology that gives abilities a boost."

It's a useful piece, with sections on reading help, typing help, mouse help, memory help, and help with technology. Some of it might be a bit basic, but it offers numerous resources and tips on things the reader might not know about or otherwise forgot about.

Perhaps the most useful and interesting parts of the article are its numerous sidebar features on finding funding for acquiring assistive technology (AT), using AT to keep your job, and a sample of online blogs and bulletin boards.
