The touchscreen interface presents distinct opportunities and challenges for people with disabilities. Touchscreen devices without a physical keyboard can make operation difficult for people with limited vision or hand control.

EngadgetMobile reported today on a soon-to-be-released technology that allows users of a touchscreen device to trace their fingers across the electronic keyboard without having to touch individual letters. Probably this would not help people with visual impairment, but it might possibly help those with limited hand control.
